$4.00Price
Basic Information -
Anaheim peppers are generally green colored peppers ranging from 500-2,500 on the Scoville Heat Unit scale. This makes them a relatively mild pepper. Our favorite way to use this pepper is to stuff them with cheese and other yummy toppings, but other popular uses include stir-frying or sauteing.
Growing Conditions -
Anaheim peppers thrive under the following growing conditions:
- Temperature Range: 60-80 °F, otherwise they may not flower
- Light: 6-8 hours direct sunlight (more heat and sunlight tends to make for spicier peppers)
- Soil: well-drained and slightly acidic, enrich with organic matter
- Water: keep soil moist, but avoid sogginess, deep watering is ideal
To effectively harden and transplant your vegetable, consult the instructions via the QR code included with the plant.
Harvesting -
You will know your pepper is ready to harvest when they are of the desired lenght and are firm. When removing, cut them off the plant rather than pulling.
