Basic Information -
Bell peppers are red and green peppers ranking zero on the Scoville Heat Unit scale. They are considered a very sweet pepper. They grow to be about 4-5 inches long and 2-3 inches wide. Our favorite way to use bell peppers is in fajitas, but the possibilities are endless!
Growing Conditions -
Bell peppers thrive under the following growing conditions:
- Temperature Range: 70-84 °F soil temp
- Light: at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight
- Soil: loamy/sandy soil, good drainage, warm soil
- Water: drip irrigation is best, deep watering preferred

Harvesting -
Days to Maturity: 65 (green) and 85 (red ripe)
