$4.00Price
Basic Information -
Red cherry hot peppers are bright red, round peppers ranging from 2,500-5,000 on the Scoville Heat Unit scale. This makes them a relatively spicy plant, similar to a mild jalapeño. Our favorite way to use this pepper is in salsa, but you can eat them fresh in a salad or even make hot sauce with them.
Growing Conditions -
Red cherry hot peppers thrive under the following growing conditions:
- Temperature Range: 60-80 °F
- Light: 6-8 hours daily (more heat and sunlight tends to make for spicier peppers)
- Soil: sandy/loamy, well-drained soil
- Water: deep watering preferred
To effectively harden and transplant your vegetable, consult the instructions via the QR code included with the plant.
Harvesting -
Days to Maturity: about 75 days
You will know your pepper is ready to harvest when it is bright red.
