Ghost peppers are red, wrinkly peppers ranking about 1,000,000 on the Scoville Heat Unit scale. This makes them an incredibly spicy pepper. If you take the risk with this pepper, we recommend putting it in a hot sauce or a spicy jam/jelly. Good luck!

 

Growing Conditions -

Ghost peppers thrive under the following growing conditions:

• Temperature Range: happiest around 75 °F
• Light: 6-8 hours daily of bright, direct light (more heat and sunlight tends to make for spicier peppers)
• Soil: well-drained, loamy soil
• Water: water when soil is dry to 1 inch deep, regularly

Days to Maturity: 120-150 days

You will know your pepper is ready to harvest when the pepper is red and wrinkly, but the longer you wait, the hotter the pepper will be.
